Who runs Zid Portable Services?
Zid Portable Services is owned and run by Zid from the company's yard in Indio, California. Zid oversees dispatch, delivery routes and weekly service schedules. The same small team takes your call, delivers the unit, services it and picks it up.
We started with one goal: answer the phone, give one honest price, and show up on the day we promise. Many renters tell us they called other numbers and reached a call center that could not say which company would deliver. Here, the person you talk to can see the truck schedule.
What do we rent?
Zid Portable Services rents standard porta potties, flushing units with sinks, wheelchair-accessible units, hand washing stations and restroom trailers. Every rental includes delivery, weekly service and pickup. We serve jobsites, events, weddings, farms and homeowners.
How do we keep units clean?
Every unit is pumped, washed, deodorized and restocked at the yard before it leaves for a new customer. On site, units get a weekly service on a fixed weekday. Units that look worn are kept for jobsites and never sent to weddings or parties.
Where do we deliver?
Zid Portable Services delivers from the Indio yard to the whole Coachella Valley and towns within about 80 miles. That reach covers Riverside, San Bernardino, Imperial and San Diego counties. Valley towns get same-day delivery on calls before noon; farther towns need a call by 10 a.m.

What standards do we follow?
We size jobsite and farm orders to Cal/OSHA Title 8 sections 1526 and 3457, which set toilet and handwashing counts. Public events get accessible units based on the ADA standard of 5% of units, at least one. Every service visit is logged, and logs are emailed on request.
- Cal/OSHA §1526: construction toilets
- Cal/OSHA §3457: field sanitation
- ADA §213.2: accessible toilet rooms
